This week we take a look at why we celebrate communion. Do you know why? Take a look at Luke 22:7-20. Here are 3 things you need to know about communion:
- Communion is a reminder of God’s love for Israel.
- Communion is a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
- Communion is a reminder of God’s love for you.
It was interesting, we took part in communion this week. What did you think?
Here’s what we talked about in Small Groups:
- Being that communion reminds us about the sacrifice Jesus made for us, what’s the biggest sacrifice you’ve made for others? How did that impact the other person?
- Why do you think Jesus chose to have the conversation about his death over a meal?
- Jesus sacrifice was him showing us forgiveness, when do you find it hard to forgive someone? What are some things you can do to forgive people you have a hard time forgiving?
