Read John 1:1-14

Jesus came to earth to be the remedy for sin. God became human for us. Because of the that he understands what we feel and experience. Three things we learn about Jesus in our passage.

1. Jesus is God. He lived a perfect, sinless life. He performed a TON of miracles that only God could do. (Raise the dead to life, walk on water, feed 5000 people with just a few loaves of bread and fish)
2. Jesus was human. God came to earth to live as we live. He experienced pain and joy, hurt and excitement. Ever y emotion you have felt he has felt. Not only that, he experienced the most painful death anyone could go through, crucifixion…death on the cross!
3. Jesus is our Savior. God didn’t come to earth to get to know us better, he came to restore the broken relationship between us. That relationship that broke when sin entered the world. This relationship is the biggest, more important relationship we will ever have. Jesus is the remedy for our broken world.
