How do we make a difference in our world?

  • You can’t go alone! We need others around us as we will see.
  • You have follow God’s lead. Look at the experience Jonah had when God told him to go to Nineva. He didn’t want to go, but God kept leading him to go until it happened.  My story: When I accepted the position as Youth Paster here at NHC my wife and I didn’t know anybody, but we felt God calling us here. We moved into an apartment sight unseen. We just trusted God in everything. It paid off. We’ve been here for almost 7 years now! Read Isaiah 55:8
  • Join the gang. You need to have others around you with the same spirit to sharpen you and make you better. Read Proverbs 27:17
  • Discover your gifts. Each one has been given a specific gift from God to glorify him with. Here are some resources for you to look at to help you discover your gifts. “Congratulations! You’re Gifted.” by Doug Fields. Online Spiritual Gifts Test. Also, check out Philippians 1:6
