When it comes to getting hooked on temptation, I want to note a couple of things
- Temptations are TRUE
- Consequences are TRUE
- “I’m not alone” is TRUE
What is God’s role in temptations?
- God is not the tempter. James 1:13-15
- God provides a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13
- God want to see you win in the face of temptation. James 1:12
Being that Easter is this weekend, what better person to look than Jesus and how he faced and dealt with temptation. Read Matthew 4:1-11
How do you avoid temptation?
- Ask for help
- Know God’s Word – 2 Timothy 3:16
- Live with God’s power – Romans 8:2

- Accept God’s grace
- Ask for forgiveness
